Maintenance Associate

Paragon Hotel Company is seeking a Maintenance Associate to maintain guest areas and hotel operations, ensuring preventive maintenance and repairs are performed to uphold our high quality standards.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Ensure maintenance quality standards are achieved and documented.
• Assist with guest issues, maintaining a professional and hospitable attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and manage key sets in accordance with company policy.
• Respond to all maintenance work orders timely and perform general minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Keep supervisors informed of all problems or significant matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned within physical capabilities.

• 1+ year experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred.
• Working knowledge of electricity, AC, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.
• High School diploma or equivalent;
  Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Demonstrated professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Physical ability to stand eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, lift 60 lb, pull/push 100 lb.
• Ability to work in all types of weather and accommodate irregular hours.
• Ability to work alone and communicate effectively with guests and co‑workers.

• Perform major life activities: standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, communicating.
• Work schedule varies; may include occasional night shifts and irregular hours.
• Must be able to push or pull 100 pounds and lift or carry 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and long hours sometimes required.
