What We Offer
The Psychiatric Tech is responsible for assisting with care of psychiatric patients from young adults through geriatrics under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What We're Looking ForQualifications and expectations:
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. - Experience:
One year, preferred. - Licensure/Certification: NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. CNAI in NC, preferred.
- Additional Skills (preferred):
Ability to perform all MOAB physical holds. Ability to care for Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse age specific patients within facility.
