CT/ Rad Tech Job Details
- Location: Salisbury, North Carolina (Zip: 28144)
- Assignment Type: Travel healthcare job
- Duration: 13-week contract (option to extend up to 20 weeks)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts (07:30 - 16:00), 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2100-$2250
- Call Requirement: Weekday call (16:00-07:30) twice a week for 2 weeks/month;
Weekend call (Friday 16:00-Monday 07:30) once/month;
No call the week after weekend call - Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Scrubs: Provided
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
- Strong experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) required (90% of cases are IR)
- Skills:
Scrub, circulate, telemetry - Certifications:
ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS - Active North Carolina or Compact state license required at start
- Ability to assist with urgent and emergent cardiology and IR procedures
- Preferred: EKG lead placement skills, ARRT Advanced Certification, RCES, RCIS with medical experience
- Assist healthcare providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
- Scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures
- Operate advanced imaging and cath lab equipment (GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Penumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, and more)
- Participate in a rotating call schedule for urgent and emergent cases
- Collaborate within a three-member call team, including at least one Registered Nurse (RN)
- Maintain sterile field and support room circulation during procedures
- Adhere to departmental policies and fatigue guidelines (no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours/week)
