Capital One partnered with iHire Technology to bring top talent into the role of Senior Software Engineer, Front End (Angular, React).
What You’ll Do- Work with a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
- Develop Front End applications using a test‑driven development pattern.
- Own technical design and development of cross‑functional, multi‑platform application systems.
- Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor peers.
- Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud‑based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of Americans.
- Use JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), Type Script, HTML/CSS, and Java to build cross‑browser and cross‑device front ends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in React, Angular, Node, Type Script, Java, or JavaScript.
- 1+ year working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- 3+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience using Agile practices.
McLean, VA: $158,600 – $181,000
Richmond, VA: $144,200 – $164,600
