The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver physical therapy treatment programs as outlined in established plans of care. This role supports patient mobility, recovery, and functional improvement while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Full-time weekends with varied weekdays
• 4 nine-hour shifts

• Salary range: $26.92 – $41.72/hour
• Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus
• Up to $2,500 relocation reimbursement

• Deliver physical therapy treatments as prescribed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns
• Ensure safe handling and positioning of patients during therapy sessions
• Document treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary care teams
• Support positive patient experiences and outcomes

• High school diploma or four-year technical school plus up to two years of specialty training, or two years of college or comparable education
• Current state licensure in Maryland or Delaware (based on facility)
• Completion of 20 continuing education contact hours or 2.0 CEUs every two years
• BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association
• Previous experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
