The Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT II) provides comprehensive respiratory care services under the direct supervision of a Clinical Supervisor. This role delivers prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies while maintaining high standards of patient safety, quality care, and clinical excellence. The RRT II may assume limited supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Supervisor.

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies safely and effectively
• Monitor patient responses and document care accurately
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Assist with unit operations and provide leadership support when assigned

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Active Maryland respiratory care license
