Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT II) – Direct Hire
Location: Salisbury, MD 21801
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $31.16 – $48.30/hour (commensurate with experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT II) to join a patient-focused healthcare team. This role provides comprehensive respiratory care services under the direct supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, following established clinical protocols and physician orders. The therapist may assume limited supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver routine and advanced respiratory therapy treatments to assigned patients
- Assess patient respiratory status and recommend appropriate interventions
- Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
- May provide guidance or oversight to staff when assigned
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy
- Successfully completed the NBRC Registry Exam
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Maryland Respiratory Care License
- BLS (AHA) certification required
