Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT II) – Direct Hire

Location: Salisbury, MD 21801

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary Range: $31.16 – $48.30/hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT II) to join a patient-focused healthcare team. This role provides comprehensive respiratory care services under the direct supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, following established clinical protocols and physician orders. The therapist may assume limited supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver routine and advanced respiratory therapy treatments to assigned patients
• Assess patient respiratory status and recommend appropriate interventions
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
• May provide guidance or oversight to staff when assigned

Required Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy
• Successfully completed the NBRC Registry Exam
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Maryland Respiratory Care License
• BLS (AHA) certification required
