Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our client’s team for the upcoming tax season. This role is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality service to clients.

Work Location: Salisbury, Maryland
Responsibilities- Prepare individual tax returns accurately and on time
- Review and organize client financial documents and tax information
- Apply current federal and state tax laws to identify deductions and credits
- Communicate with clients to gather information and answer basic tax questions
- Maintain confidential and well-organized client records
- Assist with tax notices, corrections, or follow-up items as needed
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. (accounting or finance background preferred)
Experience:
- 2-3 years prior tax preparation experience required
- Working knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Experience with tax preparation software Intuit Pro Connect preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Seasonal position (typically end of January–April)
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available
- Shift is flexible, 8:30am – 5:00pm
