Position: Administrative Associate I, Student Services

Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for an administrative associate to provide office and activities support for the director of career and testing services and the student services division.

Duties include
  • Assist students with career services information, federal work study program and student employment network.
  • Assist with data entry and organization of test data.
  • Assist students with paperwork for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) funding and other programs.
  • Work in the testing center, including assisting with proctoring/administration of placement and course tests for both in-person and remote sessions.
  • Complete required annual Accuplacer and Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) test proctor certification renewals.
  • Assist the enrollment management department with clerical duties, coverage for the student services reception desk, main switchboard and other areas as needed.
  • Post open student worker positions, answer questions related to job openings, post digital board signage and classified advertisements.
  • Assist with coordination of student services events.
Requirements include
  • A high school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Two years of office experience.
  • Excellent computer, organizational, human relations, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Preference for candidates with an associate degree in office technology, secretarial science or a relevant field and bilingual English/Creole skills.

Mon. – Thur. 9:30am – 6pm and Fri. 8am – 4:30pm.

Salary/Compensation: $18.82 - $23.10 per hour.
