Job DescriptionThe Project Administrator will support our electrical contractor's construction site operations by managing onboarding and clerical tasks. This role involves assisting employees with orientation and gathering information for onboarding and payroll, using internal onboarding software, and maintaining basic spreadsheets. The position requires coordination with project managers and payroll staff, serving as the point of contact for tradesmen during onboarding, maintaining organized records, and ensuring compliance with company policies while supporting general office functions within the trailer environment.
Responsibilities- Assist employees with orientation and gather information for onboarding and payroll.
- Use internal onboarding software and maintain basic spreadsheets.
- Coordinate with project managers and payroll staff.
- Serve as the point of contact for tradesmen during onboarding.
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support general office functions within the trailer environment.
- 2+ years of administrative or clerical experience.
- Proficiency with basic spreadsheets and internal onboarding software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working in a construction site trailer environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Any industry experience acceptable; construction experience is a plus.
The role is based in a heated construction trailer that functions as a full office. Initial training will take place in Marshall, MI for approximately one week. The work location will be in Madison Heights until the trailer in Saline is ready by mid-February. After that, role will be in Saline daily.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Saline, MI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
