Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

• Diagnose issues, maintain and repair fleet equipment such as vehicles and trailers, along with heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and plows
• Schedule preventative and daily repairs on equipment
• Inspect, operate and test equipment to ensure proper functioning of equipment and it’s components
• Perform safety checks to avoid DOT, OSHA, and safety violations and keep machines in excellent operating condition
• Safety training as required by position
• Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed

Essential Education and

Qualifications:

• Must have the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair fleet and heavy equipment
• Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with employees and customers
• Ability to use hand tools to repair equipment

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with hydraulics and electrical
• Experience working in the field ideal
• Class A Driver's License

Physical Demands:

• Requires endurance to stand, stoop, bend and work on and under equipment for long periods of time
