Mechanic Refrigeration / RSCS, a comprehensive Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Construction and Service company with operations across 10 states and over 25 years in the business, is currently seeking Low-Temperature Refrigeration Service Technicians. MRC / RSCS is dedicated to fostering a strong team environment and is looking for technicians who are collaborative, take pleasure in working on diverse low‑temperature refrigeration and HVAC‑R systems, and thrive within a supportive team ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities & RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years of experience as a Refrigeration Service Technician
Proficient in:
- Replacing mechanical seals on pumps and compressors
- Leak Detection
- Performing motor alignments
- Diagnosing and working with electrical systems and controls
- Troubleshooting and servicing multiple brands of equipment and control systems
- Understanding refrigeration systems (not residential or commercial‑only experience)
Capable of:
- Working independently in client facilities
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment when operators cannot
- Performing start‑ups of ammonia refrigeration systems
- Experienced in both commercial and industrial refrigeration
- Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and a self‑starter
- Well‑organized and detail‑oriented
- Comfortable with travel and participating in an on‑call rotation
- Must have a clean driving record
