Security Officer - Part-Time Foot Patrol

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.;
Monitor access points and visitor flow by observing for unusual behavior, reporting policy violations, and assisting with way finding and de-escalation when needed.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.;
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and maintain a visible presence while supporting patient care operations through professional interaction and timely reporting of security-related concerns.
