Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with product selection.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves and display cases.
• Clean, fill, and rotate the Meat Wrap displays.
• Coordinate with customers for special orders and with the Meat Cutter to determine items needing cuts.
• Lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.

Qualifications:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one or small group settings to customers and colleagues.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50‑60 pounds, bend, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Certification: Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.
