Job Overview: Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk. Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service; assist customers, clean, fill and rotate the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers throughout the entire shift
• Clean, fill, and rotate the cheese and deli displays
• Maintain the cleanliness of the department
• Replenish product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager
• Perform physical tasks: lift up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 45 lbs frequently, and up to 60 lbs occasionally; standing, walking, kneeling

Qualifications:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required

Preferred Qualities:

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate
