As an Applebee’s Assistant Manager, you will oversee all day‑to‑day operations, ensuring guests and staff deliver a passionate experience. The role requires strong leadership, problem‑solving, and the ability to thrive under pressure while enjoying a rewarding work environment.

• Provide timely, friendly service that meets company standards and unit objectives.
• Cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee’s core values.
• Respond promptly to verbal guest complaints and involve staff as needed.
• Prioritize guest contact and adhere to required table‑visit targets.
• Maintain accurate departmental inventory levels.
• • Perform line checks to ensure product preparation and presentation meet uncompromising standards.
  • Effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands.
  • Maintain safety and security programs.
  • Lead organization, cleanliness, and sanitation throughout the restaurant.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, reporting repairs to the General Manager/Area Director.
  • Recruit and refer potential team and management candidates.
• Facilitate training for new managers and ongoing staff development through orientation, performance reviews, and regular mentoring.
• Evaluate employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and support development opportunities.
• Document situations requiring disciplinary or corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Control departmental costs and manage inventory (food and liquor) bi‑weekly or weekly as requested.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork.
• Maintain sanitation standards that meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee’s requirements.
• Serve as a role model for all managers and employees.
• Embrace all store‑related technology platforms.
• Willingness to work in any restaurant position, including kitchen, seating, or bartending, as needed.
• Apply continuous leadership growth through the Management Development Program.

• At least 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus.

Assistant Managers earn between $20.98 and $27.27 per hour, roughly $60,000 to $78,000 annually for a 50‑hour work week, with potential monthly bonuses depending on location.

• Work various shifts, including weekends.
• Stand and move for up to ten hours.
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Read, write, and employ fine motor skills for small tools and equipment.
