Responsibilities
  • Responsible for patient safety, including pre‑screening for contra‑indications and aseptic injection technique.
  • Produce high‑quality diagnostic images.
  • Order supplies, clean the unit, and assist in daily transport preparations.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and radiologists.
  • Train new technologists and/or patient coordinators.
Position Requirements
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent experience required; associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required or allowable by contract.
  • State license, if applicable.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Valid state driver’s license, as applicable.
  • Technologists not certified in magnetic resonance by the ARRT or ARMRIT must have 6 months clinical MRI scanning experience.
  • Ability to work at several locations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
  • Local travel may be required.
  • COVID‑19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.
  • All candidates must successfully complete a pre‑employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
Physical Requirements

The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to a strong magnetic field and may encounter blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

More than 50% of the time:

  • Sit, stand, walk.
  • Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.
  • See, speak and hear to communicate with patients.

Less than 50% of the time:

  • Stoop, kneel or crawl.
  • Climb and balance.
  • Carry and lift (ability to move non‑ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam).
Compensation

The pay range for this position is $59.63 – $77.52 per hour based on direct and relevant experience. The final compensation offer is determined by several factors, including internal equity, experience, education, training, specialty, location, licensing, and business needs. The listed pay range is not a guarantee of a specific wage.
