Senior Accountant

THE COMPANY

Our client is a privately held, family office–backed organization providing centralized business and professional services across Finance & Accounting, Legal, HR, IT, and Purchasing for multiple operating companies. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with ownership and executive leadership, contributing directly to multiple companies and investment strategies.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting functions, ensure financial integrity, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making. You will be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment, helping to drive operational excellence across the organization.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (GAAP)
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close
• Oversee treasury functions including cash flow, AP/AR, and forecasting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to provide insight to ownership
• Assist with tax filings and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Strengthen internal controls and implement process improvements
• Mentor junior accounting staff and support ad hoc projects
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for business decisions

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience working closely with an Owner or executive leadership
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Positive, hands-on attitude; able to work onsite full-time

• Occasional business travel required
