Title: Hourly Teacher – Migrant Education
Location: Monterey County Office of Education
Salary: $50.00 per hour
Employment Type: Part Time, M‑Sat; 4 hrs; 94 days

Under the direction and supervision of the Coordinator/Administrator or Early Childhood Education Program Director and in cooperation with classroom teachers, the teacher will provide supplemental instruction to assigned migrant students and perform other job‑related tasks as required.

Education and Experience:

• Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing K-12 multiple subject instruction OR a Valid California Single Subject (Mathematics) Teaching Credential

• Knowledge of instructional material and methodology that best meets the needs of migrant students
• Knowledge of current research, literature and programs that impact migrant students
• Ability to work cooperatively with parent and community organizations
• Ability to develop curriculum modules and plan matching instructional activities
• Ability to work well independently
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
