Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Senior Director or Manager Migrant Education, plans, organizes, and coordinates migrant education programs for Migrant Out of School Youth (OSY). The Liaison collaborates with district and community organizations to help reduce educational disruptions, health inequity, and access to community resources that result from repeated moves/relocations. The Liaison assesses the needs of both “here to work” and “drop out” migrant OSY youth to develop and implement plans for providing targeted case management;
communicates with youth, parents, and teachers in designated second language to facilitate instructional processes.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college AND three (3) years of experience working with targeted population
- or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, AND experience working with targeted population
- Possession of an appropriate, valid California Driver’s License with evidence of insurability
- Copy of Transcript (AA/Bachelor’s Degree must show confer date)
- Letter of Introduction

Qualifications:
Community outreach experience.
All foreign transcripts must be evaluated by a third party to determine the equivalent U.S. degree and major, and the Foreign Transcript Evaluation must be attached to your application before your application will be considered. This position is grant‑funded. The grant is expected to end 6/30/2026.
