Hospitalist Physician

Pediatrix Medical Group is urgently seeking a full-time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage at a nationally recognized maternity care hospital, situated in the beautiful and vibrant Central Coast city of Salinas, California
. This facility is committed to delivering high-quality care, and offers an excellent environment for professional growth.

• Provide 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage
• Manage labor and delivery for low-volume OBs in the community
• Handle obstetrical triage and emergency situations
• Perform patient evaluations and management
• Assist in obstetrical surgeries
• Participate in fetal monitoring and coordination with MFM specialists
• Support a Level III NICU operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and MFM support
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for all obstetric patients
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area, with relocation possibly required.

• Board Certified in OB-GYN or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
• Active California medical license
• OB Hospitalist work experience (preferred)
• Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred)
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days, required)
• Willingness to relocate to the local area
• No requirement for visa support
• DEA must be obtained prior to start

• Board Certified in OB-GYN
• Board Eligible in OB-GYN (within 5 years of residency)
• Active California State License
