Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Role: Asan Accounts Receivable Specialist at Tanimura & Antle, you will be a vital part of our Finance team, helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our receivables. You will partner closely with Sales and customers to manage account balances, resolve discrepancies, and process credit and payment activity in a timely, professional manner. Your attention to detail and collaborative spirit will contribute to a culture of reliability, service, and continuous improvement.

Location(s): Salinas, CA

• Proactively manage and collect outstanding accounts receivable balances.
• Partner with Sales to investigate and resolve deduction issues and billing discrepancies.
• Provide backup support for the processing of credits, cash receipts, and daily payment applications.
• Support department projects and assignments from the Manager of Billings, Credits & Collections.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP or accounting software preferred.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or billing roles is a plus
