REQUIREMENTSA Bachelors Degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling or another related field is required. Prior home visiting experience preferred. Bilinguals (Spanish/English) are encouraged to apply.
DUTIESAs a Family Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting low-income families with children age zero to three. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting home and/or center-based visits, educating parents on child development, effective parenting techniques, and helping families achieve self-sufficiency skills. In addition to direct interaction with families, this role requires extensive documentation, compliance monitoring, and verification tasks to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to program standards.
SALARYBased on years of experience and education. Classified Salary Schedule - Range 23. Base pay ranges from $21.35/hr to $22.68/hr.
