Your RoleAs a new Commercial Framing, Drywall & Acoustics Installer at Higgins Group, Inc., you will engage in various responsibilities focused on carpentry skills relevant to construction projects. Your day‑to‑day expectations will include measuring, cutting, and assembling materials required for framing, drywall installation, and acoustic systems. You will collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.
Your typical schedule will consist of four 10‑hour shifts, running from Monday to Thursday, allowing for extended weekends. While weekends are generally free, overtime may be requested and approved based on project demands.
You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, honing your skills in the art of construction and becoming a proficient contributor to our team.
RequirementsTo succeed as a Commercial Framing, Drywall & Acoustics Installer at Higgins Group, Inc., candidates should possess a solid foundation in carpentry with a minimum of one year of experience in commercial carpentry, while three years is preferred. Familiarity with industry‑standard tools and techniques is essential for effective construction work. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to various job sites and must have reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival.
A commitment to safety practices and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings will greatly enhance your performance.
