Description Starting Pay: $26.00 per hour
Additional $2.00 shift differential from 3 p.m.
-- 6 a.m.
Shift: 1st - Crew A (Sunday through every other Wednesday)
Hours:
6:00 a.m.
- 6:00 p.m. West
- Weekly Friday pay

- Perform thorough daily inspections and maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, including air conditioners, compressors, evaporators, and boilers, ensuring proper lubrication, coolant levels, airflow, and defrost cycles.
- Execute complex repairs and complete overhauls on refrigeration equipment; isolate and service ammonia systems, replace valves and pumps, reset compressors, and calibrate temperature probes and CO2 monitors.
- Install, replace, and maintain motors, pumps, switches, safety controls, solenoids, and fuses across refrigeration areas, while managing refrigeration parts inventory and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Assist with setup, teardown, fabrication, and installation of plant equipment; support major repairs and construction for plant buildings and stationary machinery.
- Comply with all facility safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, Respiratory Protection, and Fall Protection; participate in Hazmat training and team activities to ensure a safe work environment.
- High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in a specialized maintenance trade preferred.
- 2+ years of related refrigeration maintenance experience, including knowledge of boilers and ammonia compressors.
- Ability to safely use air-purifying respirators (APR), Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), and obtain Hazmat certification.
- Advanced electrical and mechanical maintenance skills; ability to obtain necessary licenses such as boiler and forklift certifications. (CARO is a big plus!)
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and committed to following all company, local, state, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Education:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: CARO (Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator), CIRO (Certified Refrigeration Operator), RSES CMS (Refrigeration)
