Refrigeration Mechanic II

Schwan's Company -  - Responsibilities:
Perform thorough daily inspections and maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, including air conditioners, compressors, evaporators, and boilers, ensuring proper lubrication, coolant levels, airflow, and defrost cycles;
Execute complex repairs and complete overhauls on refrigeration equipment; isolate and service ammonia systems, replace valves and pumps, reset compressors, and calibrate temperature probes and CO2 monitors;
Install, replace, and maintain motors, pumps, switches, safety controls, solenoids, and fuses across refrigeration areas, while managing refrigeration parts inventory and maintaining accurate maintenance records;
Assist with setup, teardown, fabrication, and installation of plant equipment; support major repairs and construction for plant buildings and stationary machinery;
Comply with all facility safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, Respiratory Protection, and Fall Protection; participate in Hazmat training and team activities to ensure a safe work environment
