Description:

The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
Candidates must have experience with MEDITECH software.
This is a 13-week contract with day shifts.
Shifts will consist of five 8-hour workdays from 11:00 to 19:30.
Weekend shifts will be required every third weekend.
The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:2.
Candidates are expected to hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Additional preferred certifications include CCRN, NIHSS, and TNCC.
Experience in community hospital and trauma care is preferred.
Floating within Surgical Services is necessary as per unit demands.
The daily patient census in this unit ranges from 20 to 30.
Candidates should possess skills in a variety of surgical and clinical procedures.
Patient age groups may include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The role requires effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.
This position emphasizes the need for high-quality patient care throughout recovery phases.
