Overview
The Infant Child Development (ICD) Clinical Coordinator will serve as a leader, collaborating with the ICD team to create an environment of high quality patient care and customer satisfaction. The clinical coordinator will assist the department director in managing team clinical education programs to increase knowledge and skills of staff serving pediatric rehabilitation patients. The clinical coordinator will assist the director in recruiting, interviewing and hiring, team performance appraisals, mentoring and training new staff and students, marketing, budgeting, payroll, grant writing, KDHE Infant Toddler grant reporting/compliance & Kansas Department of Education (KSDE) reporting.
PositionQualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Social Work, Speech Language Pathology or equivalent degree.
Two years of clinical experience with population served (children ages 0-5 years with special needs)
One year of management or supervisory experience preferred
Required Registration/License/CertificationCurrent Kansas registration or license to practice in own discipline
Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successful completion within the first 90 days of employment
