This full-time on-site role, based in Salina, KS, is for a Radiation Therapist at Salina Regional Health Center. Responsibilities include administering prescribed radiation therapy to patients, maintaining and operating radiation equipment, ensuring patient safety through rigorous adherence to radiation safety protocols, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize treatment outcomes. The role involves patient preparation, documentation of treatment details, and regular equipment quality checks to uphold high standards of care.

• Certification or eligibility in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• In-depth knowledge of Radiation Safety protocols and best practices
• Understanding of Dosimetry and Radiation principles
• Familiarity with medical terminology and practices within the field of Medicine
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients
• Ability to maintain high attention to detail and uphold patient confidentiality
• Completion of a Radiation Therapy Program or equivalent education is preferred
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is a plus
