The Advance Practice Provider functions in an advanced role as a care provider, consultant, facilitator, educator, change agent, program designer, and resource person for psychiatric services. Advanced clinical practice distinguishes this position, supported by knowledge and competence in the areas of clinical practice, research, leadership, consultation, education, and professional growth. The Advance Practice Provider assumes a leadership role in strengthening collaborative relationships with healthcare leaders, physicians, therapists, and nurses in various settings to improve patient/family outcomes along the care continuum.
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in from an accredited advanced registered nursing program, or master’s degree from an accredited physician assistant program
Experience working with psychiatric populations preferred
Required Registration/License/CertificationCurrent Kansas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse APRN license, or current Kansas Physician Assistant (PA-C) license
Basic Life Support Certification within 90 days of employment
Schedule-Shift-Hours Full Time - Day Shift - M-F
