Overview
The System Quality Improvement Coordinator will serve as a leader, collaborating with clinic teams to create an environment of high quality care and patient experience. The System Quality Improvement Coordinator understands and operationalized the quality measures and reimbursement program requirements. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing systems for the identification, collection, reporting, and analysis of performance measurement data and processes.
This position functions as an objective role that reviews and evaluates quality, safety, and experience issues within the Salina Regional Medical Group (SRMG) and affiliated clinics in the system. The System Quality Improvement Coordinator has the authority to review all documents and other information relative to quality and experience activities, including, but not limited to, patient records. This position exists as a channel of communication to receive and direct quality and experience issues to appropriate resources (including providers, staff, managers, and Administration) for investigation and resolution.
- Bachelor's Degree in a health services, business administration, or related field.
- Two years Information Technology, Healthcare, or Physician Clinic experience
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record, Microsoft Office with Excel, and medical terminology preferred.
