Director, Clinic Operations

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of one or more physician group practices or clinics on behalf of the Physician Practice Management department. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Physician Practice Management, is responsible for day to day operations of assigned clinics/departments. Those functions may include patient registration, patient billing, insurance follow-up, collection/disposition of patient accounts and management of staff within assigned physician practices.

Ensures that appropriate procedures are in place and followed to safeguard the privacy, security, and confidentiality of protected health information and SRHC's Compliance Program and Code of Ethical Conduct. Responsible for the availability of items (supplies, services, etc.) needed to effectively operate the assigned departments within established protocols and SRHC guidelines.

• Under the direction of the Executive Director of Physician Practice Management, be responsible for day to day operations of assigned clinics/departments.
• Manage functions that may include patient registration, patient billing, insurance follow-up, collection/disposition of patient accounts, and staff management within assigned physician practices.
• Ensure procedures are in place and followed to safeguard the privacy, security, and confidentiality of protected health information and SRHC's Compliance Program and Code of Ethical Conduct.
• Be responsible for ensuring availability of items (supplies, services, etc.) needed to effectively operate the assigned departments within established protocols and SRHC guidelines.

• Bachelor? in Business Management, Health Administration, Accounting, or related field; OR minimum of 8 years clinic operations experience in lieu of degree
• Two years management experience
• Experience in the healthcare field and/or knowledge of clinic operations preferred
• Required Registration/License/Certification
