Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available supporting K-12 students in a school setting located in Salem, VA. This opportunity offers a caseload focused on K-12th grade students, with multiple openings ensuring a collaborative and dynamic work environment. The position is for the full academic year, providing continuity and the chance to make a lasting impact in students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
* Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies
* Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with educational guidelines
* Participate in meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team supporting student success
Qualifications and
Experience:
* Valid SLP certification and license, including eligibility for CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
* Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred or recently completed
* Experience working in school settings with diverse K-12 caseloads
* Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to supporting student growth and classroom integration
Location:
* Salem, Virginia, serving K-12 school environments
Additional Details:
* Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
* Six open positions available
* Interviews are starting promptly for the upcoming school year
