SummaryThe E-Commerce Jewelry Clerk is responsible for processing donated jewelry for online sales. This role involves inspecting, authenticating, and pricing items based on market research and preparing compelling product listings with detailed descriptions and photos. The Clerk coordinates with management to maintain quality control, meet production goals, and support sales performance. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a focus on customer service are essential for success in this role.
EssentialFunctions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of jewelry types, gemstones, and metals.
- Basic proficiency in writing clear and compelling product descriptions.
- Strong attention to detail for inspecting jewelry, verifying authenticity, and assessing quality.
- Familiarity with conducting online research to determine market value and trends.
- Familiarity with internet research.
- Familiarity with basic photographic principles.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work within a team situation.
- Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to perform essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Having a cell phone is not required for employment, but access to applications and/or resources may be limited unless a cell phone is used for authentication.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.
- Must successfully complete a state background investigation and drug screen.
