Health Trust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Salem, Virginia.

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS
• Pre op and Post op experience in Ambulatory Surgery Dept., Good IV stick

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ACLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Pre op patients, prep patients for surgery, post op care
• Pre op care of and post op care of:
  Interventional patients, CT bx, Open heart patients- pre op, Total joint, Choley, Urology surgeries, children- teeth and tonsillectomy surgeries, spine surgery, hysterectomy, etc…

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred

Floating Area(s):

• Possible to assist ENDO to pre op patients- start IV’s

Per diem positions are available as well. The per diem requirement is 3 shifts per month. No weekend or holiday requirements.
