RN Emergency Room – Salem, VA

• Pay: $32.33 - $48.50/hr, based on years of experience
• Night Shift Differential: $3.00/hr
• Weekend Day Shift Differential: $3.00/hr
• Weekend Night Shift Differential: $7.00/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 with a 2-year commitment
• Relocation Assistance:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team in Salem, VA. As part of our healthcare facility, you'll be providing care to patients in urgent need, managing a wide range of conditions from minor injuries to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in the Emergency Room.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing care based on patient acuity.
• Provide high-quality nursing care, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with physicians, departments, and families to coordinate care and referrals.
• Document patient care and nursing interventions effectively and in a timely manner.
• Maintain composure in high-pressure situations, acting professionally under stress.

Requirements:

• Education:
  Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred or current enrollment in a BSN program.
• Licensure:
  Current RN license in Virginia or multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• Certifications:
  American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience:
  At least 1 year of ER experience in an acute care setting preferred, but Med/Surg nurses interested in cross-training for night shifts will also be considered.

Compensation:

• Salary: $32.33 - $48.50/hr depending on experience.
• Shift Differential:
  Additional compensation for night and weekend shifts.
