Job Summary

The Blow Mold Packer is responsible for inspecting and packing plastic bottles, monitoring automated equipment to prevent jams, reporting defects or machine issues, and ensuring smooth production flow.

Compensation

Competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour, 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am).

Responsibilities
  • Lifts and transports bundles of corrugated bulk containers filled with plastic bottles, assembles them into grouped boxes, and secures them with twine.
  • Inspects plastic bottles for defects such as holes, surface lines, or water spots, and packs all approved bottles into boxes.
  • Monitors automated machinery to prevent operational jams.
  • Notifies the supervisor of any defective bottles or equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensures conveyor belts remain clear of excess bottles.
  • Operates the bagger machine as required.
  • Alerts appropriate personnel when additional raw materials are needed.
  • Tracks the number of bottles produced during each shift.
  • Accurately labels boxes or bags with the correct date and shift identification, following designated color‑coding requirements.
  • Supports departmental inventory activities and performs routine record‑keeping tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to work safely.
  • Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
