Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their Capital Division is seeking an Associate Pathologist to be based at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

Pathologists in the Lewis Gale system see a wide variety of case types of all levels of complexity. Lewis Gale Medical Center is a Center of Excellence for complex GI, and it hosts an ACGME-accredited gastroenterology fellowship. Therefore, the position would be an especially good fit for a fellowship-trained GI and liver pathologist.

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists nationwide and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Our physician partners are a key component to our success and we work closely with them to achieve the most favorable patient outcomes.

Qualified Candidates:

• AP/CP Board Certification required
• Ability to sign out general surgical pathology and perform frozen sections
• Virginia licensed or FCVS in place preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
