Quality Assurance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an integral part of the quality assurance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Quality Assurance Technician

Salem, OR

$20.00/hour

3-Month Contract-to-Hire

7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday

• Monitor and audit production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Read and interpret product specifications to verify product conformity
• Perform laboratory analysis on raw materials and finished products according to work instructions
• Place non-conforming products on “hold,” document their status, and communicate findings to supervisors and QA managers
• Assist in special projects and ensure accurate data collection and record-keeping

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with strong initiative and reliability
