Job Description

You will assist in determining and providing medical/psychiatric nursing care and treatment for patients at Oregon State Hospital, under the supervision of the RN. You will administer medications as ordered by the provider, complete focused assessments, and respond to emergent psychiatric situations that could potentially be dangerous. Additionally, you will help maintain a safe, secure environment and contribute to the therapeutic milieu.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Possess a valid Oregon Practical Nurse License at the time of appointment. The license must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time from the application date.
