Job Description
We are seeking a skilled RN to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The unit has 15 beds and is equipped to handle cardiac telemetry and various post-surgical patients. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to post-cardiac cath and post-surgical patients including open heart, orthopedic, lung, and general surgery cases.

• Monitor patients via cardiac telemetry and manage critical drips, epidurals, and PCA.

• Perform procedures such as groin management and chest tube management.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• PCU experience.

• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and management of surgical patients.

• Chest tube management and epidural experience.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
