Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Radiology/Interventional/Electrophysiology nursing position at Lynn Medical Village with a MA RN license and weekend day shift availability.
Responsibilities

• Position is located in a radiology department featuring a CT scanner

• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00am to 7:30pm

• Patient population is general, with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1-2

• Unit census ranges from 1 to 2 patients

• No floating or rotating shift requirements

• Utilizes Epic EMR system

• Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care for radiology, interventional radiology (IR), and electrophysiology (EP) procedures

• Clinicians are expected to demonstrate strong skills in emergency management

• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions permitted

• Scrub attire requirements follow department policy

• Parking is not validated and candidates should anticipate parking costs

• Local candidates living within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston receive a reduced rate

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required; pending or conditional licenses are not accepted

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA is required

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA is preferred

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred

• 3 years of medical surgical nursing experience is preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience is preferred

• Proficient in IV placement and emergency response/management
