Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least two years of recent OR experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Responsibilities
Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
Day shifts with variable start times (07:00, 09:00, 11:00) working 4x10 hour shifts per week
Night call shifts during weekdays (8 hours, 23:00-07:00) and scheduled/call weekend shifts (10-12 hours)
5-6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts per 6 week schedule
Epic EMR usage is required
Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital
No mile radius restrictions; local candidates are accepted at the same rates
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Strict RTO policy; all time off requests must be submitted up front and cannot be changed after submission
Must be off staff for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
Weekend and on-call shift coverage required as part of the rotating schedule

Requirements
Active OR RN license must be in hand at time of application
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred
A minimum of two years of recent Operating Room RN experience is required
Epic EMR charting experience is mandatory
COVID vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
