Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with an active OR license, BLS certification, and Epic EMR proficiency for a hospital-based day shift assignment.

Responsibilities
Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
Schedules include weekday day shifts (4x10 hours) with variable start times (07:00, 09:00, 11:00)
Weekday night call shifts are 8 hours (23:00–07:00)
Weekend scheduled and call shifts are 10 or 12 hours
5-6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts per 6 week schedule
Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital
Epic charting system is used and experience is required
First time travelers are welcome to apply
Strict RTO policy applies; requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be changed after submission
Return staff must have a minimum 6-month gap before returning as a traveler
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements
Active RN license with Operating Room designation (no pending licenses)
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
COVID vaccination required for consideration; no exemptions accepted
