The Project Manager, Campaign, serves as Project Manager for all aspects of the Food Share’s capital campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise funds for a new warehouse and commercial kitchen, which will serve our community for the next 30+ years. The Project Manager, Campaign, will be the hub of information about the campaign, and will keep other stakeholders informed, organized, on tasks, and on schedule.
The position also provides administrative and project support to the VP of Development.

- Serves as Project Manager for all aspects of the Food Share’s capital campaign, including preparation, implementation, evaluation and completion.
- Facilitates campaign communication within the Development team, and among all Food Share departments.
- Facilitates communication with campaign counsel.
- Facilitates communication with government relations agency.
- Gathers information for campaign materials.
- Reviews, evaluates and provides feedback on campaign materials.
- Gathers and organizes feedback from other staff members on campaign materials.
- Coordinates campaign activities and events.
- Organizes and monitors staff and volunteer assignments and follow-up.
- Prepares and sends campaign correspondence to donors and community members.
- Tracks campaign budget, progress toward goals, outstanding proposals, recognition opportunities, and other key campaign information.
- Schedules and prepares meetings, records key decisions, tracks items, and follows up as needed to ensure that tasks are completed.
- Maintains campaign calendar and communicates key dates to stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Facilitates communication within the Development team and among all Food Share departments.
- Manages calendars, schedules appointments, and coordinates meetings.
- Records key decisions, tracks action items, and follows up as needed to ensure that tasks are completed.
- Drafts, proofreads, and edits correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Supports the onboarding of new team members.
- Coordinates Development team projects like volunteer days, program site visits, and team-building events.
- Manages expense documentation.
We are the regional food bank bringing people together to end hunger and its root causes in Marion and Polk counties. Support from our local community makes it possible for the Food Share to collect and distribute nutritious food for children, adults, and seniors through more than 70 partner programs, including food pantries, meal sites and home-delivered meals and to carry out programs to address the root causes of hunger.
