Job DescriptionThe Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as our Records Management Supervisor 2 (Prison Term Analyst Manager) in Wilsonville, Oregon. This role is critical for ensuring the lawful and accurate calculation of prison terms that directly impact public safety, court integrity, and the lives of adults in custody.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for the OISC Prison Term Analysts.
- Manage daily operations, supervise staff, develop workload management systems, and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
- Plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate staff performance; establish work schedules and coverage plans.
- Coordinate recruitment, training, and employee issue resolution while adhering to the AFSCME Security Plus Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Maintain a professional, harassment‑free work environment and strong relationships with DOC staff, the Department of Justice, District Attorneys, and other criminal justice organizations.
- Assist in setting and achieving OISC strategic goals, develop workload management systems, and ensure compliance with Oregon Revised Statutes, DOC policies, and administrative rules.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, evaluate policies and legislative changes, assist with budget preparation, and reallocate resources as needed.
- Provide backup supervision for other OISC units and serve as interim Administrator as necessary.
- Collaborate with institution management teams on AIC sentence calculation issues, prepare and approve reports, business plans, and operational statements.
- Respond to public and institutional inquiries; lead presentations and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Four (4) years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR one (1) year of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in records management, legal document processing, or corrections‑related administrative work.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing teams; including workload planning, staff development, and performance management.
- Skilled in policy analysis, legislative review, and implementing workload management systems.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with statutory and policy requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Oregon sentencing laws, DOC policies, and administrative rules.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple agencies.
- Possess a Law Enforcement Database System (LEDS) Certification.

Professional work week that may exceed forty (40) hours. Work may be performed in an office setting, authorized remote location, or an institution setting. The unit is located on the grounds of a correctional facility; basic security protocols must be followed. Occasional in‑state travel, including overnight stays, may be required.
