Overview
Seeking a motivated and thoughtful Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. The Litigation Associate will work closely with experienced partners on a broad range of civil litigation matters, from case inception through resolution, including trial and appeal.
Responsibilities- Support senior litigation partners on complex civil litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda
- Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and appeals
- Manage cases and deadlines with growing autonomy over time
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality client service.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Oregon State Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
- 1-5+ years of litigation experience preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated interest in civil litigation and dispute resolution
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service
