Position

We are seeking a motivated and thoughtful Litigation Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape your litigation career based on your interests and strengths, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our firm provides flexibility in practice development alongside meaningful opportunities to support senior litigation partners on complex matters.

The Litigation Associate will work closely with experienced partners on a broad range of civil litigation matters, from case inception through resolution, including trial and appeal. This role includes partner support, with a strong emphasis on legal research, motion practice, and appellate brief drafting, while allowing for increased responsibility and independent case management as experience grows.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Oregon State Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
  • 1–5+ years of litigation experience preferred (strong writing skills are essential)
  • Demonstrated interest in civil litigation and dispute resolution
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to professionalism, ethical standards, and high-quality client service
