We specialize in providing professional claims experts to handle large losses, catastrophe claims, business interruption, daily property claims, liability investigations, scene investigations, property damage appraisals, construction defect claims, and first-party automobile claims for both personal and commercial insurance policies.
Position Summary :
- Immediate openings for Multi-Line Claims Adjusters who can work remotely and have experience handling property and liability claims. Candidates should be capable of adjusting commercial and residential property losses, understanding negligence, and assessing damages. Tasks should be performed with modest supervision, with an understanding of coverage, investigation procedures, damage valuation, and bodily injury evaluation for settlement.
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
- Proficiency with estimating software, preferably Xactimate.
- Working computer, internet access, and Microsoft Word.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Experience in taking recorded statements, preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters.
- State adjuster’s license where required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge and Skills :
- Deep knowledge of property and liability insurance coverage and standards.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports, collect and summarize information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prompt, reliable, and friendly service approach.
- Background check required; prohibited in some states.
- Experience in specialized areas is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct residential and commercial property inspections using Xactimate and investigate liability claims to determine negligence and damages.
- Obtain statements from insureds, claimants, witnesses, and officials; inspect damages.
- Recommend claim reserves based on investigations.
- Review coverage forms and endorsements, providing thorough analysis.
- Maintain quality standards and comply with client best practices.
Preferred Qualifications :
- College degree or professional designations like AIC.
- Successful completion of background checks.
