Fully Remote (Must work PST hours)

The Applications Engineer 4 will work closely with Engineering, Analytics, and Program teams to validate, test, and improve a Generative AI application built with modern technologies including React, Node.js, Databricks, and large language models (LLMs). This role focuses on ensuring application quality, safety, and usability while supporting cross-functional collaboration across business and technical teams.

• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and program teams to validate and enhance Generative AI application capabilities.
• Test and improve a GenAI-powered application built with React, Node.js, Databricks, and integrated LLM technologies.
• Develop and execute automated tests using tools such as Copilot and other automation frameworks.
• Provide feedback to improve application quality, safety, performance, and user experience.
• Work within materials manufacturing, materials development, sourcing, costing, and planning ecosystems.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to support application development and deployment.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and business audiences.
• Build relationships across cross-functional teams to support ongoing application improvements.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and matrixed organizational environment.

• Experience with React, Node.js, Databricks, and modern LLM integrations
• Experience testing, validating, or improving software applications
• Ability to develop and execute automated testing processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly with minimal guidance
• Strong organizational and partnership-building skills
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8–9 years of directly relevant experience
• OR Master’s degree and 7 years of experience
• OR PhD and 6 years of experience
• OR Associate’s degree and 9 years of experience
• OR High school diploma and 10 years of relevant experience
